New Patient Information

  • Ages: 12+ routinely; 6–11 case‑by‑case.
  • Initial Evaluations: Tuesdays only (90 minutes).
  • Telehealth: You must be physically in New Jersey at the time of your visit. Sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant Zoom.
  • Controlled Medications: Require monthly visits; NJ requires an in‑person visit for new controlled substance prescriptions and every 3rd month thereafter for Schedule II (effective 2/16/2026).
  • Response Time: We respond within 3–5 business days during Monday–Thursday administrative hours.

Cancellation / No‑Show

$75 if less than 24 hours' notice (not billable to insurance).

Medication Refills

Submit at least 5 business days before you run out; must have an upcoming appointment; seen within 90 days; no early refills.

Controlled Substances

Monthly visits required; NJ requires an in‑person visit for new controlled substance prescriptions and every 3 months thereafter for Schedule II (effective 2/16/2026).

Communication

Use SimplePractice secure messaging and designated HIPAA forms; do not use text, email, or voicemail for clinical questions.
